Rise Recovery Program: Real Support for Real Life
At Gabrielle Cormier Counselling Centre, we saw a gap—people wanting support with addiction recovery, but unsure where to start or how to sustain it. We heard from those caught between long waitlists and rigid treatment models, from parents and professionals trying to hold it all together, and from individuals in recovery who needed something more than a meeting, but less than a full-time program.
So, we built what was missing.
a structured outpatient counselling program
8-10 sessions, with the option of extending as needed
practical tools integrated with compassionate, trauma-informed care
$75/session, which can be billed through your insurance
You’re in the driver’s seat. We’re just here to guide, support, and walk alongside you.

Rise Recovery Program
Rise
Rise Recovery is a structured, evidence-based outpatient counselling program designed to walk with you through the ups and downs of recovery. Whether you're new to sobriety, returning after a relapse, or simply wanting to strengthen your toolkit, this 8–10 session program meets you where you're at—with structure, strategy, and heart.
Reclaim
We use Structured Relapse Prevention (SRP), a cognitive-behavioural model developed by addiction researchers Monti, Kadden, and colleagues. SRP helps individuals understand their personal triggers, recognize early warning signs of relapse, and build real-world coping skills. It’s not just about willpower—it’s about rewiring how we respond to stress, emotion, and temptation.
Recover
Each session blends psychoeducation, personalized goal setting, and skill-building exercises. You'll learn about the brain science behind addiction, explore habits and high-risk situations, and develop a plan that supports long-term recovery.
